Mr. Chen has over 22 years of professional experience in start-ups management, investment banking, private equity, and venture fund investment management, covering a variety of sectors, such as Biotech, Aerospace, Electric Vehicle, Block-chain, and Fintech.  Some of his notable investments include Excision Biotherapeutics Inc., SpaceX, NIO Inc., and UKDE Limited.  In recent years, Mr. Chen has focused on the biotechnology sector, where he can positively contribute to improving the quality of health.

Mr. Chen also serves as the COO and CFO and Board Member for UKDE Limited, a multi-national Fintech/Block-chain/Digital Finance company, which is aiming to become a leading Open Banking platform.  He is leading the operation, corporate finance, capital market, and board management aspects of work, and also heavily involved in the Strategy Development and Planning, Product Development, Sales and Distribution, and Business Development related work. 

Prior to these roles, Mr. Chen was a senior partner at NewMargin Ventures, a top 10 venture fund in China and one of the founders of Bridge Capital, a top 50 private equity firms in China.  He was also an investment banker with PingAn and Huarong Securities, which are among the leading investment banks in China.  He also worked for General Motors as a Senior Financial Analyst. 

Mr. Chen has been serving as an independent board member for HL CORP, a public company listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange, since 2010.  He sits in the Strategy and Audit Committees.  Mr. Chen earned his Masters degree in Business Administration from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
