Mr. Chen brings over 20 years of business experience in the international agriculture sector to Kermode Biotechnologies Inc. Most recently, Mr. Chen served as Chief Executive Officer at Shanghai Muan Company Limited, one of the largest agricultural distributors in the world and the sole distributor of animal nutrition products from Danisco/Dupont Animal Nutrition.

Prior to this role, Mr. Chen helped Danisco/Dupont in developing enzymes, solutions and other nutritional additives in animal feed targeting the needs of Chinese market. More specifically, Mr. Chen was responsible for the introduction of disruptive agriculture technologies to the Chinese market, including high-temperature tolerant enzymes, complex enzymes, and liquid enzymes relating to feedstock stabilities. Mr. Chen elevated Danisco the most competitive brand in Chinese market, which became the largest supplier of enzymes and other nutrition additives for the most prominent livestock farming conglomerates such as Charoen Pokphand Group, Wens Group, Twins Group, Sunner Group, and New Hope Group.

In 2000, Mr. Chen co-founded and joined efeedlink as its CEO. efeedlink is an aquaculture, agriculture and animal health internet company that provides critical nutritional, strategic business connections, digital conferencing, livestock and feed industry publications, and the first livestock products and services online trading platform to the Chinese market and the worldwide investment community.   

Mr. Chen earned his MBA from the National University of Singapore, and BA from Southwestern University of Finance, Texas.
