Dr. Hasenmaier brings over 30 years of experience across the global animal health and pharmaceutical industry, from research and development to corporate strategy and executive leadership. He leverages his veterinary and business expertise to guide portfolio strategy, corporate governance, and growth for established companies and start-ups alike. Throughout his career, he held corporate board responsibility for major global business divisions, including Animal Health and Consumer Health Care, at one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Hasenmaier currently serves as Chairman of the Board of IMV Technologies and ECO Animal Health, and as a Member of the Supervisory Boards of Vaxinano, Phagelux, ModuvaxBio, and Mileutis. In these roles, he supports both established and start-up animal health and productivity companies, drawing on decades of operational and strategic experience to guide their growth. He also undertakes select strategic project work on a highly selective basis as a Senior Advisor.

Before transitioning to his current advisory and board roles, Dr. Hasenmaier spent 18 years at Boehringer Ingelheim, where he progressed through a series of senior leadership positions. He served as a Member of the Board of Managing Directors, with corporate responsibility for the Animal Health and Consumer Health Care divisions. Prior to that, he was Corporate Vice President for Mature Markets across the UK/Ireland, Nordics, Benelux, Canada, and Australia region, and before that, he served for nearly a decade as Corporate Senior Vice President of Animal Health.

Dr. Hasenmaier holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
